The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Yesterday, I attended the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade with a friend. We arrived an hour early, and were hopeful for a good viewing spot. After pushing and shoving we made our way to the front of the crowd and waited for the balloons to make their way down 6th avenue. As the marching bands blew their horns, and the clowns danced for a chuckle, the balloons began to soar over NYC. Overall, it was an incredible way to spend Thanksgiving morning, and I highly recommend that going to the parade gets put on your Bucket List. Despite the tourists which the parade attracts, it’s a true New York tradition, and one which all New Yorkers should try and attend. It’s so magical.
