Halloween is my favorite holiday, and it’s less than one week away (hard to believe, isn’t it!). I love how it’s a universal agreement that it’s okay to dress like you’re a 5-year-old, or chill in a hot dog suit all day. People accept the foolishness and craziness the holiday brings, and it’s overall such a happy day.
This year, I’m going to be a fairy and I plan on attending the Halloween Parade down in the West Village (as long as Sandy doesn’t get in the way). Everyone goes crazy, and it’s just so over-the-top that it’s perfect.
If you still have yet to find that perfect set of ears to match your black bandaged dress, or you’re simply bored with store-bought costumes, I’ve found the perfect source of inspiration for you! If this doesn’t give you any costume ideas, well then I really don’t know what will.
